Find Care & Housing
Most towns have groups that meet to help the griving spouse. Also keeping busy helps. If there is no group in your area maybe you could start one in your home.

I think I miscommunicated. My husband is not dead, but he is at the stage that he is no longer really my husband --much of the time, more like my small child. And so I am grieving my loss, even as I care for wh he is now.

Although it was my mother that had Alzheimer's I have friends that have mentioned this website for spouses.

wellspouse.org

If you do a google search for other 'spouses with alzheimer's groups online' I am sure you will find others.

http://www.nia.nih.gov/Alzheimers/Publications/caregiverguide.htm
that is another caregiver guide that might prove useful.

I am sure there are articles on this board as well addressing caring for a spouse. Perhaps one of the moderators will see this post and help.
