I am caring for my darling husband who has stage 4 parkinsons and now he has moderate dementia. Yes life is hard, he has had this disease for 18 years and until 2 years ago, we were still active, bowling, golfing, hiking. All that is gone now, and he is almost completely wheelchair bound. But when I am close to crazy, He looks into my eyes and tells me he loves me. That is how I keep going.
