My mum has dementia but a few months ago she started to hear music and voices - she's deaf, she was also imagining things people coming into her room. I thought she was having some kind of mental breakdown, it turned out to be a water infection treatable with tablets brought on by not drinking enough.Very common in the elderly. Now we know the signs we can get her treated. Good to know.
