My MIL is 92, in a LTCF. No quality of life, like so many in her position. Mind is fine but her body is a mess; UTI's, falling, incontinence, depression. I think about how there didn't used to be so many drugs for everything & nature took its course. Point seems to be lost. I think I'd rather eat what I like, have wine, laugh & be ready rather than afraid. I don't see why docs do this. ???
