My mom is 94 and still insists on living alone in a 2 story home with basement laundry. All 6 of us kids have tried, unsuccessfully, to convince her to explore at least getting help at home, or better yet, moving closer to one of us. (I am 90 minutes away, making the trip to see her 1-2 times per week). she is unsteady, frail, and showing signs of memory loss and confusion. Any suggestions?
