     Sounds like she knows she is forgetting things. She is compensating for her memory loss with consistency in her life. She knows she can manage the things that she does all the time. My mom was able to sew every day until she got sick. She was away from the sewing machine for 1 month and was unable to remember what to do. It was just the way the memory loss effected her.
