Mom (84 yrs old) told me she knows how I feel about her memory loss because she remembers how frustrated & angry she was when this happened to her mom.Not since the birth of my first child over 35 yrs ago have I felt on the same page as my mom. That empathetic moment bonded us more than we ever have been bonded before or ever will be again. She has walked in my shoes, knows how I feel. That's love.
