My mom is 100% deaf in one ear and wears a hearing aid in the other. Needless to say, she doesn't hear much of what I say to her. This has become a great advantage for me. When I get so mad at her I want to just yell at her, I can. Most times she thinks I am just raising my voice so she can hear me. Kills two birds with one stone, she can hear me better and I release a lot of frustration!!
