     My mom had worked 40 years doing piece work in a dress factory. She developed Alzheimer's in her late 70's but her sense of humor remained to the very end. To encourage her to stay active I always asked her "what are you doing today?" One day she floored me with the response "I'm loafing. That's what they pay me to do these days."
