I was careing for my Mom in early stages of AD. Keep in mind she was physically able to do whatever it took to get out of the house. Aware of this I made adjustments in the house, jammed the doors with boards. Well one day I thought she was unaware and I had trouble getting out myself, she said I'll get it she grabbed a broom and knocked the board down. Realizing then...Forgetting dose not = stupid!
