     When my mom was in the early stages of dementia, she would still see the humor in some things and laugh. Laughter had been such a big part of our lives. One day she was very very slowly getting in my car and stopped mid-step and started laughing. I asked her what was so funny and she said, "I look just like one of those Tim Conway skits where he mimics old people on the Carol Burnette show!"
