I care for a 97-year-old Alzheimer's gentleman. One night he couldn't fall asleep and at 2 a.m. he asked me to make him 4 pancakes with 2 small glasses of orange juice. He ate and drank and when he was finished he gave me the biggest grin and said, "You are worth something after all". Mind you I have been working with the family for over 2 years. I couldn't stop laughing.
