I read a short article last week that talked about a new experimental treatment for Alzheimers. The research was done in Australia and treatment had something to do with bombarding the brain with ultrasound and the result was the breaking up of the plaque that causes memory loss, etc.
This sounds like a huge breakthrough, but I have read nothing since then. That is surprising since it is such a major health issue all over the world.
Has anyone else heard about this?

I heard about it once, like you did, and then no more. They are probably doing it on mice, and it worked on one mouse. You know how the media likes to blow things out of proportion.

Sigh. I hope they have a cure by the time my grandkids start getting dementia.
