My mom passed a week ago after 6 months in hospice and I need to say Thank You to everyone on this wonderful site. I could not have gotten through the years of struggle and constant doubts without the support and caring of everyone here. Like many of us I had no one to lean on but knew in the wee hours I could count on someone here to reach out and hold my hand and provide support and encouragement. Wish I could send this message to the hundreds of kind souls here to tell them thank you from the bottom oh my heart and always remember there is someone here who really and truly cares and who is there for you. Melanie My Heart goes out to You, as so Many of Us here on this brilliant Site know well the pain of great loss. You were so wonderful to Your dear Mom Who is now in Heaven, and knowing this must give You the greatest peace. Take Your time and give Yourself time to heal, but come back when You are ready as so many new Caregivers will benifit greatly from Your encouragement and wisdom. Melanie, I am so sorry for your loss. Come back any time you want. There are caregivers to be, current caregivers and retired/previous caregivers here that all have experience to share with others.
