My Mother and I need help from our family and friends that can help us. I've been here caring for her since Jan.20. Only been out 3 times to get groceries. I am so stressed I cried harder yesterday than when our Daughter died.

My Mother has taken in all her family, to help them. She's cared for little ones, the sick, the lonely. She's been a Christian Mother. (A Christian Daughter, Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt Friend,) all her life, Despite her on problems.
And yet I spent Sunday yelling at her.
At My Mother. She's not herself at 91. We need help. Please.
My Husband, Home, and Children, and Grandchildren are in Calif. I'm looking for a car with my Brothers help. My Mother has 5 Grandchildren,
6 GreatGrand children.
And not a one has called her, for her 90 Birthday or recent stay in hospital.
Not a card.

REALLY! Is this ok. God forgive me for I said, in stress, tired, and total frustration,
and what I'm thinking this morning.
Please pray for us. That Mom isn't so resistant. And I need Prayer for everything but patience. Gods teaching me that.lol

Pastor Jack Graham Sermon on tv Sunday was onTimothy 1:2-8.

Advice About Widows,Elders and Slaves
1 Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, 2 older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity. 3 Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need. 4 But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God. 5 The widow who is really in need and left all alone puts her hope in God and continues night and day to pray and to ask God for help. 6 But the widow who lives for pleasure is dead even while she lives. 7 Give the people these instructions, too, so that no one may be open to blame. 8 If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 9 No widow may be put on the list of widows unless she is over sixty, has been faithful to her husband, 10 and is well known for her good deeds, such as bringing up children, showing hospitality.

Suegirl, good heavens back in July your plans were to move your Mother to your home in California... is there any way you could get her there? The reason I asked is because California has good programs to help with the elderly such as paying you for you doing her care.

I noticed in past postings that your mother has memory issues and those won't get better, but will get worse. Are you ready to care for your mother 168 hours a week? No one can do that. I would suggest sell the house [if all the hoarding material has been moved out] and start fresh in California where you have your hubby, grown children, and grandchildren.

Oh, Hmmmm, Well she won't Move.I finally got her to tell me why. She doesn't want to fly back to Ohio in a casket in the bottom of a plane. My Cousin Barbara said, Wel-l-l, does she think she'll be uncomfortable.

Suegirl, tell her you will arrange to have her driven home, if that's what all takes. She doesn't have to know the truth.

Caregiving for my husband has given me nothing more then a steady dose of worry, panic attaks, anger, and sleepless night from decisions about constent reprioritizing. It never changes. Everyday nothing gets done. Calls never get made. Laundry and dishes pile up higher. Theres never a moment of peace n disconnect for me. I dont remember what life was like before this fire i walk through everyday. I'd never change my decision to care for my best friend. But jeez louise why does it have to hurt so much?

If you can not get her to fly.. OK but why buy a car to move her? Rent a van if you need to, it will be cheaper! But get yourself (and her) back to your family before you no longer have one. Then you will have some help.
