Dear (and you all are "dear") Aging Care Forum,

It's pretty clear from the last year of posts that many folks have maybe been having a harder time this year than some others that have gone before.

Let's all put our collective positive vibrations together to bring about a better 2014.

Let's be open to comfortable and natural resolutions for our care receivers.

Let's wish for an improvement in the dispositions of those who feel the need to be radical, that they may attempt to accomplish their goals in a calmer manner.

Let's hope for a turnaround in the world economy.

Let's do everything we can, each and everyone, to further the health and wellbeing of the earth, our family and friends, our pets, wildlife and its habitat and especially ourselves.

Let's recognize that we can't take care of anyone or anything else unless we have already taken care of ourselves.

Happy New Year

Hooray for you CarolLynn! So very well said, "Let's do everything we can, each and everyone, to further the health and wellbeing of the earth, our family and friends, our pets, wildlife and its habitat and especially ourselves." With your permission to quote & give credit, may post tthat quote on my bulletin board at work?

I wish for everyone to have a gentler year than the last.

And my wish is that all caregivers in 2014 realize and appreciate that they deserve just as much of the health and happiness they're trying to provide for their loved ones. And that each caregiver understands that they have a right to take care of themselves and aren't required to sacrifice themselves or their health or happiness to anyone else, regardless of what others might believe.
