I've taken care of my friend in home and lived with him 14 years.

He goes into hospital and social services steps in and said they had two different pschiatrists proved him incompetant and pit him in nursing home.

They may also be moving to appoint a Guardian to handle his assets and person. Unless he has enough cash to pay for private care, he's going to need to liquidate.

I imagine it's a real shock to you . . . you may have thought your care was more than adequate. It's very VERY difficult for one person alone to give good care to someone with dementia or severe health issues. I can barely do it for my mom with two of us.
