My mom and dad live in an apartment attached to our house. She's 81 and he's 80. There are days I just feel sad about my situation. The thing is I created this situation for myself. My husband and I offered for my parents to move into the apartment and they of course did. Now I have this huge thing going on that's going to get huger all the time. I know it will! I get thinking about the future and get a little freaked out about it.

Been there doing that...Make sure you let other family help daily/weekly .. Don't take on all responsibilities... It will make the future less strenuous for you...Make sure they see an Elder Care atty and get all finances in order...Most important "take time for yourself"...
