I must have let my laundry pile up longer than usual or I changed my socks a lot. I had a ton of clean socks dumped out on my bed. I thought "Too bad Mother's not here. She loves to sort things." The light went on. I filled a bag with the socks and took them with me to the nursing home today. We sat at a table in a quiet room and she laughed when I dumped out my bag. She matched them up and I folded them (which is too hard for her arthritic hands). My sock drawer is full again! :)

Lots of folks with dementia like sorting/matching things. Nearly everyone likes to feel useful. It is a good combination for filling a sock drawer.

Got any clean socks your parents can help you with?
