I am female, 80 yrs. old and beginning to be more forgetful. But I can move around my apt, do some simple cleaning, have professional cleaning once a week. I Gave up driving long ago as recommended by what little family I still have. Have never enjoyed Crafts much. I don't enjoy Bingo, card games or dominoes.
I like Scrabble, and single person games on line.

To MOST people (including the personnel here) my life seems drab and uninteresting. To ME it's fine. I've always been a bit of an introvert. Visit with friends over dinner. I nap some during the day. But don't know that there is anything wrong with that!

I've noticed on this forum that younger people seem preoccupied with the idea that older people don't socialize enough! Let me tell you...Being 80 is NOT the same as being 18 or even 48!
