Even at my age, I am very alert to charities. I have researched the best and the worse. We have only one charity we give to annually. That charity is the Salvation Army. We also have picked out a family in need and helped them to get on their feet. We have one stipulation, they must be trying to help themselves. Life is hard and some people just need a helping hand.
