I have not found one agency, government agency or anyone that would pay my spouse to care for me. I am so frustrated, it would be so much cheaper if the spouse were paid to do the care giving which my husband has been helping me for about 10 years now, he was only working 8 days a month the last year and lost his self employed contract delivering Avon last month. So we only have my disability which is only $1041.00 a month. Why doesn't the government realize that it would be so much cheaper to pay the spouse as we can't afford to hire someone from an agency even if my spouse was working full time.
