Ann Marie, earlier this year my Dad had fallen and bumped his head on the driveway, got a big old goose egg of a injury. It wasn't until 4 hours later that I heard about it, rushed to my parents house, and called 911 noticing how wobbly my Dad was.

Long story short, Dad stayed overnight in the hospital for observation. That morning Dad thought he was in a hotel, and he wanted me to walk him down to the main desk so he could pay for his stay. Today I can giggle about that, but back then it really worried me. He was disoriented for a couple more day even after being home, then he snapped out of it.

I asked him if he had remembered the "hotel" but he didn't remember saying that. He thought it was funny if it did happen :)

Good! My husband definitely has Dementia because he has not moved as much as this article describes. The hardest part for me is watching my husband's memory get worse. Dementia will get worse in the future, but meanwhile, God is providing good days for us to enjoy together! Susan Helms,
