@malloryg8r: The modern, electric bidet seats automatically flush the nozzle and wash the wand with each use. Some of the models even have a sanitizing function. They have been used in public places for decades with no reports of ill effects.

These sound interesting but very unclean. I don't want other people's body fluids getting on there, and then sprayed onto me. If I lived alone these would be great but I have family, and host Bible Study and also tutor students, in my home.
