Thanks for sharing your experiences. Mine have been similar until I could no longer care for him myself. He was transferred to assisted living right through a connecting arm so I can be with him as often as I am able. It's at least once a day after dinner I visit and I stay and sing and pray with him. It is our evening helping each other to relax communicate our love for each other and then He can go to sleep. I usually need a little more time after I return to out apartment to unwind.
