I was told by an authority on dementia/Alzheimer's. The last thing you want to say it is dementia. There are many physical reasons that can mimic dementia. Dementia/Alzheimer's 85% is a mixed dementia. After every physical reason has been ruled out. Then only Neurologist/Psychiatrist can actually rule Dementia in.

Thank you for sharing this important article. It's so valuable for us to remember that we actually know very little about dementia/Alzheimer's, and often times what we think we know is wrong.

I feel the same about Parkinson's and Lewy Body Dementdia. How can they be sure it is not something else? My wife's B12 addition to her meds have made a big difference!

Changes in your gut flora could have increased the vitamin synthesis, particularly production of K2 from increased intake of K1 from plant sources. Something changed in your diet, I will guess, for the better. K2 removed the plaques. I bet they would like your brain to look at.

If he did not have Alzheimer, what was his illness? He does not say! How was it found and how was it cured?
And, was it really cured? And could his be just wishful thinking? My husband was diagnosed exactly like David Hilfiker and for several years his decline was so slow that nobody would believe he had Alzheimer. He even was extremely good at his work, he is an engineer. He was gradually losing just his memory, but for everything else he was OK. Unfortunately now everybody knows that he has Alzheimer with the exception of my husband who does not believe anything is wrong with him apart from the memory loss that, he says, almost every old person has. All the other things that happen to him, never happened as he does not remember them. I sincerely hope Mr. Hilfiker is right and he does not have Alzheimer, this terrible disease that subtly changes, while it progresses, an intelligent, funny, adorable person into something so different not to even resemble who he was before this horrible thing happened to him
