Personally, a Toronto, Ontario police officer knocked on our front door a few weeks past, saying he was doing a community drive by and noticed our front door (my brother and I hold the door closed with a tarp rope tied outside; so our Mom can't wander). Anyhow, after I explained our Mom's dementia (she was near rambling) the kind officer scribbled our names then said good day and drove off (I can only assume they're accumulating a database municipality (probably worldwide) to ensure sanctity and prevent irreversible errors). I'm sincerely happy that dementia is suited to study and law (hopefully a cure will be following). Thanks for sharing.
