Thank you for this reminder! One thing about Mama is that she has always said funny things =) So I've tried to write them down lately so that I can go back and read them as Needed!!

I love this concept and the idea of writing down those memories. A friend told me about a tradition her family had of writing Dow a funny moment or interesting or memorable experience with their family and dropping that note into a big jar. Then every year at Christmas they'd break out the jar and read the notes. Maybe a similar idea for us and our aging parents....

Thank you for that! I so know what u mean regarding grasping those " wonderful" moments while taking care of parents. Sometimes the frustrations are so overwhelming that you just want to walk away. I can't do that.....I love them too much! Thank god I have a great husband and 2 loving grown sons. They endured many many years of me being gone or called out for emergencies,which there are many. I have never heard them complain. You helped me take a deep breath...thanks!
