Coconut oil is awesome as a moisturizer and skin softener. It's also good after being out in the sun. It also is good for internal health when eaten. I use it for cooking, in oatmeal, on toast and sandwiches.
Wow. This is a timely article. I thought my mom was having an allergic reaction to something in our home. We washed the clothes in some 'free' type of laundry soap. When we went to the dr, he called it 'winter itch'. It's all over her body and of course she has opened some areas on her skin. We are using antibiotic cream and heavy cream used for eczema. This has helped a great deal in just a couple of days!!
What can you do or help prevent them from, 'senile purpura—skin that bruises?' She is already think skin n petite n I already have her using lotion but the slightest bump she bruises real bad. Can any certain food in her diet can help her or prevent the bruising?
