Johnnycares you are so right. Mom's good 'friends" are 2X a yr visitors for the most part except for one and my mom pays her to help out so you know that would be scarce too if it wasn't for the benjamins. I call mom's friends the Santa Birthdays b/c they only drop by for the quickest visits you ever saw for b-days and X-mas. Mom and I are an island to ourselves!

I didn't think so in the begining but sure as hell do now ,Never mind friends at our age friends are no loger around but family members?? Now I can see very well because they are so busy going to church breakfast or going out of town playing golf or just not around or to busy to even call to see how we both are doing? Oh well we started out just the two of us anyways ,As doris Day said in her song,"what ever will be will be"
