My Mom never liked the doctor using hot water in her ear to clear out the wax, and warm water wouldn't work. Since she didn't like any discomfort she is now facing the fact that the wax had turned to cement and attached itself to the inside of her ear... only surgery would get it out, but at 97 years old it isn't recommended.
