I agree with u that there are certain kind of options for us to move on and basically by moving to assisted living houses or independent living houses , seniors are able to live on their own and maintain their independence and dignity. residents enjoy comfortable apartments with emergency call systems and safety-equipped bathrooms..
Please expand on the movement issue. I think there are a range of options for assisted living; especially for a couple. Independent usually means an apartment, assisted can be just a room.
This article is very misleading in that CCRC's mean not having to move to another community. Each time you go to another level you will have to move! At our community that is a RCFE you can age in place meaning that you stay in the same apartment even as licensing becomes necessary. CCRC's are great for those who can afford them however don't mislead peole who are faced with making decisions for their loved ones.
Sound nice but way to expensive for us. To bad. Sound like the places where the real rich people get to go. I guess us poor folks have to keep on looking.
