I have a friend in hospice now. He is two years older then me. I am 54. I have known him for a while through church and his family. He is a sweet man. I just can't fathom it, one month I saw him at Walmart he was fine and healthy. Next few weeks I read that he was gravely ill. I can't get over the fact when he told me he was terminal. I saw him at Hospice, a few days ago. How can this happen to a grown man so quickly? That I do not understand! Very hard to see this happening. Then him not being able to do what he has always done in life is unreal to me. He wouldn't hurt a fly, and is still so sweet in all of this. Thank goodness for those who have said prayers for him and his family. Just so sad to see him going through this. Anyone really. Blessing to you all.

It now seems like when someone is put on hospice, their life is ended within a week. I recently heard of t he dying womsn's family being given the fatal dose of morphine or _____ and they were yold to give it to the dying person after the hospice worker left.
