First, find a local care group. Nothing beats the voice of experience -- except perhaps being able to talk to someone face to face who is going through the same things you are. Try the internet for local listings -- most are sorted by zipcode. I found it very helpful to make the drive. Even if I didn't comment during a particular meeting, I felt comforted in a way that was beyond the scope of the internet.
Life style changes for dealing with the tremors of Parkinsons consist mostly of changing from china to plastic; that is changing from using breakable things to using unbrreakable things. Using Korel (or a similar breakable materilas) does not signal defeat. It signals COMPETENCE and CAREING. Yes, I shouted them because they are words those of us dealing with this don't usually hear.
Check for treatements your doctor may have missed or discounted for some reason:
L-dopa
Selegiline (Deprenyl)
Free Radicals
A pacemaker set to help with blood pressure, etc.
Pallidotomy
Biological Implants
You deserve to know what each of these are and why they will or will not work for your mother.
Above all, keep reaching out. You need support. If your closest friends and loved ones can't or won't supply it, keep looking. Blessings on your search.

My cousin who lives with me is being tested for PD. He had a seizure about a month ago, he does not sleep well either. The tremors started after his seizure. He also complains of not seeing well. Could the seizire have caused this?
