Vascular Dementia

Vascular dementia is the second most common form of dementia after Alzheimer disease. Vascular dementia is a general term describing problems with reasoning, planning, judgment, memory and other thought processes. Vascular dementia is caused by impaired blood flow to parts of the brain. The lack of blood flow deprives cells of oxygen.
