Caring for Senile Dementia
Senile dementia is the mental deterioration (loss of intellectual ability) that is associated with old age. Senile dementia is not the same as Alzheimer's disease. Senile dementia affects people as they age, so caregivers must learn how to recognize the signs of senile dementia in their elderly parents and tell the difference between senile dementia and other memory disorders such as Alzheimer's.
