aw thank you. It's nice to know that there are other ones in my age group! It's difficult for my friends to relate to me because their parents are still in their 50s and 60s. :) Have a great day.

I just spent 2 weeks cleaning Mom up from a bout with the stomach flu. She had no control over her bowels. It was horrendous, especially when I got sick after a few days. My sister had to cover for me for a 24 hour period, and got a good dose of what I do every day! If you have a home health aide, cleaning up accidents is part of the job. They should remember that we don't get paid for the duty like they do. If they don't want to deal with potty issues, then they shouldn't be in this line of work. I have a CNA that helps me out, and she has cleaned some major messes, and never complains. She insists it part of her duties. There are compassionate people out there, you just have to find them.
