Your comment brought me to tears. Your Father is in a beautiful place, waiting to see you again one day. God Bless you .

Love never dies, Robert. I learned that when my Dad died. Your love for your Dad shines as bright as ever. His spirit will never leave you. Cry, mourn and rejoice in his eternal life transition - until you meet each other once more on the other side of eternity. Prayers for you, friend.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I, as the primary caregiver for my father, know that as I watch him decline, I pray for him to go peacefully in his sleep in his own bed. But I also know that I, too, will miss him terribly when he is gone and, too, will miss his "good morning" and "good nite" wishes. Best of luck to you!

I'm very sorry, its been 3 years and I still miss my dad like yesterday-just know he was a lucky man to have a son who cared so much.I've just come to terms that I will always miss him.

Hi, I am CNA and have cared for many like your folks. There are specialty Dr's that evaluate patients. Maybe type in your town and state and look for a Doctor who evaluates these patients. They put them through a series of mental tests and can ell you the stages they are on.
Hugs to you. This is a hard job and it seems your doing it very well.

hi there... thanks for your message. sorry if i misunderstood you a bit. You said i sounded like i'm a strong person? Well, there's no choice. I have to be. No one to handle this scary situation of being the one in charge of my circumstances. I gave up on whining & complaining to my mom's 1 brother & 6 sisters... they point to one another & toss the responsibility and toss my mom's care like a ping-pong ball. it's been like this for the past 18 years!!!! yes 18 years & still counting. Looks like my mom will be around for the next 10-15 years u imagine the toll it takes on my finances, health, well-being and even my dating plans have been ditched for like forever... no man around, no dates, no time for it, no money to finance the date, no wedding ring! Hah! so yeah I wanna kill someone for the mess she has created in my life! lol... i vent here so just forgive me. It's not an exaggeration but lots of fellow caregivers here feel that way, one way or another. Have a good day my friend :-)
