I am retired & now dealing with chronic health problems. My husband has become a wonderful chef, CEO and CFO and a cheerful, dedicated 24/7 gof-er for me and his disabled dad.

I'm dealing with a very similar issue. For my 86 yo dad with Alzheimer's it was a minimally effective huge sign in front of the toilet toilet to set closer, and a junkyard of various pee jugs to try to prevent having to clean up the puddle by his bed in the morning. Sorry, we haven't figured out a solution yet either.

Is the nursing home over-medicating your elderly parent? Comment 5 mins ago by AmazingGrace
My father is essentially demanding we care for him. He said he doesn't want us to travel, go out at night or leave him alone or he will leave everything to relatives and tell family we have neglected him. Comment 29 mins ago by Crowemagnum
I secretly wish my elderly father would hurry up and die. (I take care of him full-time) Does that make me a terrible person and how can I stop thinking this? Comment 59 mins ago by ajl2001
