You gave Jackie wise advice. Her situation is the same as mine with my mom's things. My mom has dementia and will not be com ing home. although she is sure she is, and that everything will be exactly the same as she left it. I took some of her personal items and clothing, ansd she hasn't really recognized any of it yet, so how can she go home?? I am not in a hurry to get rid of things, although there is serious non-solicited interest in her home which is putting me on the spot.

Kudoos goes out to AgingCare.Com for putting together this online forum. Like many people who are caregivers, we do not have all that much time to seek support/help elsewhere-and possibly can become overwhelmed on the caregiver journey. I have personally been thru this, and know what it is like...so thank you to the staff.....
