Definitely do your homework! There are some excellent home care workers out there, and some bad ones, too. Make sure you use a credible agency that has been in business for some time. Find out if they accredited by your state. Do they train their home care workers? Some home health business require their home care workers to be certified, while others don't. Will you be able to have the same person come to the house every time? And find out exactly what services they will provide.
