Mom has severe depression and renal failure. I am the only one left who is still willing to go around her. How can I cope?

Who is caring for her now? Is she in a medical facility or hospice? What is being done about the depression? Why is no one else "coming around her?"
I hope that you are providing the care and advice she needs. Sounds as if everyone else has "checked out." If it is because of her behavior, everyone needs to look past it and do the humane and kind thing for someone who sounds as though she is nearing the end of her life.
