I have heard that in some states that is possible I would check with your social service department I found when you call Medicare you do not always get the correct answer and I do not trust them anymore since they paid a doctor for care on two occasions after he died-he died at 4 am and this doc charged for a hospital visit later that day after he was in the funeral home and the next day -the day after he died got paid again for a hospital and when I called medicare they blew me off talk about seeing dead people this doc not only sees them he takes care of them-if the government looked into all the fraud in medicare a lot of money could be saved.
