My elderly parents still live in their home, but need help with daily care. How can I get them the help they need?

I need to find help for my parent who still live in their home. My dad will be 90 and my mom is 89 and blind. unemployment and poor in VA I can't move out and they don't what to move and my dad just drove my mom to an app and after putting her had a mini stroke and was out my blind mother didn't know what had happen til she heard nurses yelling man down. What do I do?

Have you tried a local senior center to seek volunteers that might be able to check on them and assist as needed? Many senior centers have a great volunteer base, particularly if your parents do not have the funds to hire a companion/caregiver. Hope this is helpful, stay calm and positive!
