The bulk of the parent's funds were transferred into only the child's name but the parent still has one fund left with parent's and child's name, that the child is using to pay bills.

To elaborate, Medicaid looks back at five years of financial records and if they see money moved, cash withdrawals, cars gifted or houses quit claimed, they will definitely reject the application. The nursing home will NOT be happy. And don't think you can hide any transactions from them. Nobody can.

You will not get a penny from Medicaid until you transfer it all back.
