What type of support is out there after you lose your patient you have cared for so long. Especially your husband whom you loved so much. J
Carol Bradley Bursack, Oct 30, 2009
Over the span of two decades author, columnist and speaker Carol Bradley Bursack cared for a neighbor and six elderly family members. Because of this experience, Bradley Bursack created a portable support group, the book “Minding Our Elders: Caregivers Share Their Personal Stories.” Her sites, www.mindingourelders.com and www.mindingoureldersblogs
Nearly all hospices have grief support groups. They can be very helpful. People often stay on this site, as well. Several of our contributors have lost their spouses, but keep coming back to share their wisdom.
However, please call your local hospice. You should get help there.Carol
