My Dad has approved for VA aid and attendace benefit. Now do I have to pay taxes on that when he pays me?

My first reaction is that, no matter where you receive income, it has to be reported. However, since this is a government benefit and you are a family caregiver, the rules may be different. IRS.gov has a section dedicated to caregivers. Also, you may want to check with an accountant or elder law attorney.
