When does Medicare or Medicade start to pay for things?

MY QUESTION IS I AM A CAREGIVER AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHEN DOES MEDICARE OR MEDICADE START TO PAY COULD SOMEONE ANSWER PLEASE

Over the span of two decades author, columnist and speaker Carol Bradley Bursack cared for a neighbor and six elderly family members. Because of this experience, Bradley Bursack created a portable support group, the book "Minding Our Elders: Caregivers Share Their Personal Stories."

 

Medicaid payments start when the person's assets are nearly gone. Each state is different. If you are considering this you should talk with your adult social services people. There's a lot of paperwork, but once it's done you will have help. Good luck.
