Several months ago someone posted a comment about a voice activated medical alert device.

Asked by anonymous13319  |  Aug 28, 2010

From what I remember, the necklace or wrist band contained a speaker so that the dispatcher could speak directly with the customer. Will the person who originally posted the comment please share with us this information again? What is the name of the company? thanks.

...just found this device online: get freedom alert

It allows you to speak directly into the pendant, not the unit. I like what I have read about these systems because there is no monthly fee and you do not have to shout across a room to get help....seems to make more sense. Also, you talk directly with the person you are dialing, not some call center operator.

Has anyone used this device, or one like it? I would love your input...thanks,
Lilli
