My mother has short term memory loss and doesn't realize it. How should I talk to her about it?

they wont remember the conferstation they had about anything . so it may not do any good to talk to her about it , it be all denial and naaaa .
my mil has that and its all the time repeating , and she gets her feelings hurt when we tell her that we just told you about 5 mins ago . we dont do that anymore , we just repeat again and again ,
its sad ....

I agree hardebeck. My mom has the same thing beginning stages of Dem/Alz and for a time I would get disgusted and say I just told you too. I noticed it was hurting her feelings so I stopped.

Again I do the same thing Ihardebeck does....just repeat and repeat and repeat. Sometimes I ignore the question and it goes away but for the most part don't say anything, just deal with what's happening.
