Give a Hug
Jun 15, 2010
If he is of sound mind and can still get around with an aide, why does he want to move to a facility? My personal belief is that the longer seniors can stay in their own familiar environment the better. But if he would feel better in an assisted living situation, then the best thing to do is to visit several....arrive at different times, talk to the residents, get all the information about which services they offer and the cost. (I find most are overpriced and under staffed.)good luck...there is never an easy choice.
